New Paper Pussycat Portrait!

Now I’m going to be brutally honest here, I am 99.9% of the time cool and confident with any papercut challenge or job that comes my way, but my heart hit my throat when I saw the markings on this little cutie! Which makes me eeeeven more excited to share this little fella with you as I’m so chuffed with how he turned out!… Stripey kitty cat coat challenge conquered! If you’d like to get your paws on your own pet portrait then you can order them from notonthehighstreet here!

National Puppy Day & my Papercut Pet Portraits!

I’ve not the foggiest where all these National Days come from… But I was definitely going to jump onboard with this one!… Yesterday was National Puppy Day! So, I wanted to share with you some of the personalised pooch portraits I’ve snipped up recently. These are available from notonthehighstreetย and are one of my absolute favourite commissions! When an order for one of these comes through, I simply contact the customer for a couple of detailed photographs of their pup and away I go! (Slightly bias) but I think these make just the sweetest, most thoughtful personalised gift for anyone with a pampered pet! I can also add pet names or their favourite toy into the picture for that extra personalised touch. If you’d like a custom portrait of your pet, you can order one here. (I have also done ponies and cats, so don’t be shy to hit me with anything outside the box!)

Seriously unimpressed

Following on from the ‘animals wearing clothes’ theme of my last post!.. I would like to introduce my mothers midlife crisis puppy, Bella. Here she is trying on her Christmas outfit! I think we need to work on that unimpressed face. These amusing Christmas pooch pictures popped up on Pinterest too, hope they make you smile as much as they did me!

At great risk of looking like a crazy dog lady, whilst we’re here, I’ve been doodling some pooch themed ideas for illustrations. I’ve started with a sweet little French Bulldog, wearing a Dior 2012 print harness no less! I’d love to hear your favourite breed to add to the doodle list!Frenchie
