I recently completed a mega exciting commission for a local newly refurbed Fish & Chip restaurant called Chez Fred. The shopfront has been so beautifully refurbished with its striped awnings and luxurious gold accents, the attention to detail makes it so wonderfully striking! I was thrilled when lovely Fred the owner wanted to go SUPERSIZE with the commission as this meant I’d get to capture all those teeny tiny details. It’s the largest scale papercut I’ve completed to date and up there at the top of the list of favourite commissions I’ve worked on. A combination of the colours, symmetry, detailing, stripes (such a sucker for stripes!) and the fact that the commission had a personal touch to it too… I’ve been eating fish & chips here for a whole 28 years!… made it such such such a super project to work on! Here are some papercut Chez Fred ‘in the making’ snaps and the finished product at the bottom. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Jolly excited to have new products available from society6 with my poppy print alllll over them… including iphone and ipod cases, stationery cards and wall clocks to name a few 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend x
Following on from my previous post, here is another flowery papercut that I have turned into a repeat print. If you’d like to know how you can make your own, then check out my tutorial below… I should accompany this with a WARNING though: Creating repeat prints may become addicitive!
Have a beautiful day x
Here are some little lavender pots I snipped up. Super inspired by the Spring-like feeling in the Dorset air the past week.. watch this space for more beautiful blooms!

I recently invested in a Wacom graphics tablet, and since doing so my creative world has been transformed! I have spent the past couple of weeks adding hand written text to every photo I have taken and have been experimenting with the endless creative possibilities that can be achieved with this little gadget! I am very conscious that my illustrations retain their raw, handcrafted quality, so have been sure to refrain from getting tooo carried away with my new toy! Here are some of my illustrations that I have added hand written text to, to transform into greetings card designs and a little birthday party invitation too.
Have a great weekend! x
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter weekend. Here are a few snaps from mine 🙂 I am bursting at the seams with creative inspiration from all the beautiful botanical painted canal boats that I’ve seen this weekend. This coming week will mostly consist of working on some new floral print designs inspired by my trip. Photos to follow!

A couple of weeks ago fashion week hit London, and as soon as I stumbled across shoe designer Sophia Webster‘s Spring/Summer 2014 collection ‘Supa Dupa Fly’, I instantly fell in love. The collection was showcased in a cute and colourful garden themed wonderland. The collection appears to take inspiration from some of natures most colourful insects and blooms. With stripes, lady bird spots and cut-out butterfly designs adorning pastel and patent footwear.
As a tribute to this fun and enchanting collection, I’ve created this illustration using cut and assembled paper. A pair of these beauties are definitly on my summer wardrobe wishlist!
Have a great weekend x
