Christmas Papercut Wreath Workshop!

Isobel Barber

Ever since the success and pleasure of the Wilderness Festival Papercut Headdress workshop I ran this summer, I’ve been positively itching to organise another one! With the build up to the festive season upon us, I decided a Christmasy themed workshop would be just the ticket!

Come along and join me for a fabulously festive morning on Tuesday 1st December at the lovely Deans Court cafe ‘The Squash Court’. You will receive a pack of high quality materials to enable you to construct your very own beautiful hand-crafted paper Christmas wreath. Alongside all the materials, I’ll be providing the assistance required to enable you to snip up little decorative accents for your work of art… robins, berry branches, oranges or whatever takes your festive fancy! As you work, your imagination will be fed by delicious homemade mince pies, loose leaf teas and Italian coffee. Tickets are available here!

Really hope to see you there!

New Illustrations!

This post pays homage to my wonderful Wimborne roots. I was born and bred in the beautiful little market town of Wimborne in Dorset. Two of Wimborne’s many charming characteristics are these two noisy fellas! The Quarter Jack sits on the minster and strikes the quarter hours, whilst the Town Crier can be found on weekends wondering around the square and minster ringing his bell and generally being jolly! I created the below using cut and assembled recycled paper.Wimborne Quarter Jack
